With one of the longest running teacher/mentor programs in Arizona, the Washington Elementary School District is the ideal place to start your teaching career. The BEGIN program is a three-year teacher induction program providing professional development, coaching and grade/content-area-specific teaching strategies. Master teachers serve as cadre leaders and provide practical teaching and management techniques to the program participants, as well as offer classroom coaching and observations to assist with specific needs.
