Native American Program,Title VII
The Washington Elementary School District is proud to offer several programs exclusively for our Native American students and their families. These programs are funded by the federal Title VII Native American Education Grant and include but are not limited to:
- After School Academy
- Summer School Academy
- After School Tutoring
- Student Leadership Conferences
The Office of Indian Education, part of the U.S. Department of Education, determines the dollar amount of the grant based upon Native American enrollment and completion of student eligibility forms. In order to help WESD broaden the scope of our Native American programs, we encourage all Native American families to complete an eligibility form (also known as a 506 form) for each student. Forms can be found in the main office of your student's school or by clicking here. For more information about the forms and how they are used, please click here.
For additional information, please contact the Curriculum department at 602-347-2838.
