Volunteer Coordination

  • Communication Services serves as a resource to schools with regard to volunteers. A Volunteer Handbook is produced annually that contains requirements for all types of volunteers – parents/guardians, grandparents, community members, students in high school volunteer programs, Head Start volunteers. Each school is responsible for making certain volunteers meet the criteria and are utilized appropriately. Schools are encouraged to hold regular recognition events to honor the contributions of volunteers to the campus.
