Gifted Testing Referral Information
Ways to Request Gifted Testing:
WESD administers a state approved assessment to identify giftedness three times a year. Referrals for testing can be made by parents, teachers, or the students themselves.
Qualification for gifted services requires a score in one of the three areas (verbal, quantitative, or nonverbal) in the 95th percentile or above.

If you would like to refer your child for testing, please complete the google form for the grade level of the student. There is a seperate form for Kindergartners, Grades 1-2, and Grades 3-8.
- Download, print, and deliver to school-
If you cannot use the google form or prefer to print, please download the appropriate form in the drop-down menu for the grade of the student. It can be filled-in before printing. The completed and printed paper form can be returned to your child’s teacher with a note requesting the form be delivered to the teacher of the gifted on your campus.
