The purpose of the V.I.S.T.A (Voices Igniting Success and Thriving Achievement) Committee is to help guide the development of WESD systems to support equitable outcomes for all students. The committee will research and provide suggestions and feedback to District leadership to strengthen educational equity in WESD. The V.I.S.T.A also welcomes diverse points of view, knowing that we all share the same core belief—the importance of ensuring equitable outcomes for all students.
Currently, the committee is comprised of 30 members including district staff members, school staff members, parents and students. The V.I.S.T.A meets every other month on Wednesdays for 90 minutes in person.
