Volunteer Opportunities

  • Volunteers Make a Difference at WESD

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the students and staff of the Washington Elementary School District. WESD values and actively encourages community involvement in our schools, recognizing that the diverse talents and expertise of parents and community members enrich the educational experience for all.

There are many meaningful ways to get involved, including but not limited to:

    • Small group tutoring
    • Assisting in classrooms
    • Chaperoning on field trips
    • Participating in District councils, school site councils, and various committees

To ensure a safe and effective volunteer experience, all guidelines and procedures are outlined in the WESD Volunteer Handbook. Volunteers are required to review and acknowledge this information annually.
