We have exciting news for families with future kindergartners!

 

The WESD is hosting Kindergarten Sneak Peek events at 27 of our schools on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026! This is your chance to join your neighborhood school to explore our classrooms, meet staff and experience firsthand what makes the WESD a special place to learn and grow!

 

Attend one or two informative sessions:

• 9 to 10 a.m. – Step into a kindergarten classroom in action and experience the school’s vibrant culture.
• 4:30 to 6 p.m. – Tour the campus, meet school leadership, teachers and staff, and gather essential information about transportation, childcare and nutrition services.

 

On-site registration will also be available! Be sure to bring your child’s birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency to complete enrollment.

 

Who should attend?

• Families of children who will be 5 by Aug. 31, 2026.
• Families of children who will by 5 by Dec. 31, 2026 (will receive information about our Early Kindergarten Entrance Program).
