7:30 a.m.- 3:15 p.m. on a regular school day schedule.

7:30 a.m. -1:15 p.m. on an early release day schedule.

Purpose

The purpose of a school library is to support our student's education as lifelong learners and readers by putting resources in the hands of students, encouraging students to read, teaching students the skills necessary to evaluate information, and encouraging student responsibility.

Meet our Library Tech

Mrs. De Francesco, when she was a child, had always wanted to live in a library, so she did the next best thing, she decided to work at a school library. Mrs. De Francesco loves books and loves sharing her favorite books with the students at Sunburst.

Some of her favorite genres are mystery and thrillers; she loves the excitement of having to solve a problem before the end of the book. She also enjoys books on myths and legends of the Middle East and cook books on Mediterranean cuisine.
