Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year, Aviators!

As the principal of Alta Vista Elementary School, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. This is my 7th year in the Washington Elementary School District where I spent three years as an Instructional Coach and two years as an Assistant Principal before coming to Alta Vista as the new principal in July 2023. Prior to coming to WESD, I was a teacher in the Peoria Unified School District for 13 years.

I am an Arizona native and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Supervision and Administration (go Sun Devils!). In my free time, I love to travel, read, attend concerts, and spend time with my four beautiful nieces. 

I believe that education is a collaborative process. I am committed to working closely with faculty, staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
