Alta Vista is dedicated to making sure we are meeting the needs of each one of our students. Our teachers are committed to planning as a grade level to develop lessons that will challenge their students and help them succeed in their classes. Alta Vista uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) to help encourage positive behaviors on campus. Students are reminded of the expectations around campus and they are acknowledged for all the good things they are doing.
We appreciate parent support in and outside the classroom and encourage you to actively reach out to your child’s teacher to see how you may be of assistance to them
The Alta Vista Parent/Student Handbook contains the information your child needs to know to make him or her a responsible and successful student. To read our Parent/Student Handbook in Spanish, please click here.
Please also visit our School Information page for an overview of our policies and procedures.
Please also review the District Parent/Student Handbook which contains important information including immunization requirements, transportation information, and policies on drugs, alcohol, weapons, truancy and bullying.
Please contact our school office at 602-347-2000 if you have any questions.
