Sweetwater School is home to a diverse student population in kindergarten through eighth grade students. We provide gifted services, art, music and physical education for all grade levels. Before and after-school care is provided on site, as well.We believe that all students can be leaders in their personal lives. We are a Leader In Me school, inspiring greatness, one child at a time. Staff model and teach the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, helping each child discover his or her strengths to develop his or her leadership potential.

Governing Board Approves Resolution Recognizing and Affirming LGBTQ+ Students and Staff
The Washington Elementary School District (the WESD) is committed to a learning environment that is physically, socially and emotionally safe for all students. As a part of this commitment, the WESD affirms, supports and values all students and staff and will continue to further efforts in our schools to create a welcoming, safe and inclusive learning environment for our transgender, non-binary and all LGBTQ+ students and staff.
