Welcome to Ocotillo Elementary School, Home of the Bulldogs.

I am ecstatic to welcome everyone to the 2024-2025 school year!  At Ocotillo we work daily to meet a wide variety of educational needs for all children.  Every member of our staff is committed to the whole child as we work to not only help our students grow as scholars but as members of our community.  I believe every one of our students can and will change the world, so we work to give them the best well-rounded foundation possible.

We are a Silver Award winning PBIS School where we focus daily on our Bulldog pledge, “We are Bulldogs. We are respectful, responsible, safe, and ready to learn.” While we strive for mastery in all areas, we realize that doesn’t happen overnight, so we celebrate student growth every step of the way! It is not lost on any of the staff at Ocotillo that you are trusting us with your most prized possession and for that we are grateful.  We work hard to foster a safe, supportive, learning environment where all students can learn and grow. Our goals of academic excellence and positive self-esteem can become a reality when staff and parents work together in an atmosphere of communication and cooperation. We invite you to become actively involved in your child’s education by either volunteering in the classroom, attending our family engagement events, joining the PTO, or the Site Council.  Feel free to contact me regarding concerns or questions you may have.
