After School Academy (ASA)

  • The After School Academy (ASA) program at our school is made available through the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant (21st CCLC). This federal grant provides high-quality academic enrichment opportunities for students. In addition, the program provides family members engagement in helping children succeed academically.

We are excited to share with you that our After School Academy (ASA) will begin September 20. We will be providing both morning and afternoon classes. Students will be able to take home STEM kits! Research shows that well run, afterschool programs:

    • Increase educational outcomes
    • Increase social emotional learning skills
    • Close socio-economic gaps
    • Increase school attendance
    • Increase healthy skills
    • Help students understand diverse needs of others
    • Support academic, physical and emotional needs

We would like as many students as possible to participate in this opportunity… AND IT’S FREE (free snacks included too)! Transportation for eligible students is included.

Contact our front office and ask for the ASA Site Coordinator to learn more about the program.
