Attendance
Please call the school attendance line at 602-347-3015 before 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the first absence. The absence line answering machine is on 24 hours a day.

Before/After School Care
Quality daily care is provided by our KidSpace Program from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. For fees and other information, please contact KidSpace at 602-347-3011.

Breakfast and Lunch
Free breakfast and lunch are served daily to all students.
Breakfast is served in the classroom at 7:30 a.m. Students must be on time to receive breakfast. Instruction begins promptly at 7:45 a.m.
Lunches are served daily in the cafeteria.

Dress Code
Uniforms are not required but students must adhere to the dress code, which includes wearing a student ID at all times.

ParentVUE
All parents and guardians have a ParentVUE account that can be used to access important information about their student such as grades and attendance. Parents/guardians will need an activation key to log on for the first time. You can obtain an activation key by visiting the school office and bringing a photo ID. Preschool Programs
Head Start is available at Richard E. Miller for four and five year olds. Information is available from the program director at 602-347-2415 or 602-347-2443.

Student Drop-Off and Pickup
Students may not arrive on school grounds before 7:10 a.m. as there is no supervision before this time.
Students may not be picked up after 2:00 p.m. on regular school days or 12:30 p.m. on early release days. This is a critical time of the day where students recieve important imformation and instructions.
When dropping off or picking up, parent cars should not enter the Royal Palm bus bay area. Extreme caution should be taken when entering and exiting the school pickup/drop-off lane. Cars should pull up as far as possible and let students out of cars in designated areas only. All children should exit cars from the passenger side.

Transportation
Students may ride the bus to school based on thier home address. Bus routes are available online by clicking here.
Students in grades 2-5 may ride bicycles to school, K-1 students are not allowed to ride bicycles. All bicycles should be locked in the bike rack on the north side of campus.
Students who walk to and from school must stay on designated paths and crosswalks. Students are not allowed to walk through the Royal Palm School grounds. Students should also not walk through any of the school or business parking lots within our community.
Crossing guards and staff are on duty during regular start and dismissal times at 23rd Ave. and Alice. Staff are on duty at school crosswalks and parking lot entrances and exits.

Visiting Campus
We welcome visitors to our school! When visiting, we ask that you sign in at the front office and wear your "visitor" sticker or name badge at all times. When you exit campus, please be sure to sign out. If you are interested in visiting your child's classroom, please prearrange with the teacher before you visit.
