Please welcome our two assistant principals, Jules Shipe and Ashley Vasconcellos, to the Mountain View family!
Jules Shipe served as the cross–categorical behavior program coach at Manzanita Elementary School where she supported resource teachers, conducted professional development and ensured SPED compliance. She has also held numerous special education leadership roles in her teaching position prior to joining WESD. Read her welcome message below.
"I am excited for my second year as an Assistant Principal at Mountain view and look forward to continuing to build relationships with student, families, and community members. I am passionate about empowering students to develop their strengths and interests and partnering with families and staff so that we can support all students in their education journey. Ashley Vasconcellos has 13 years of experience as a classroom teacher and three years as an instructional coach. Before she was our assistant principal, she was our instructional coach and oversaw the EL program. She has extensive experience training and mentoring teachers. Read her welcome message below.
