Transportation

Safety. Pride. Integrity

To further the mission of the Washington Elementary School District, we will respect others and provide customer service.  We will create a positive environment and present a professional image.  We will communicate in a comprehensive and timely manner.   We will also provide safe, courteous, and quality service.

There is no greater responsibility than the safe transportation of the students in our District. We are an integral part of the education of all students within our school district, as the school bus is an extension of the classroom. Safety is a high priority and students, parents, teachers, school administrators, bus assistants, bus drivers and community members are all responsible for keeping our students safe. We are committed to providing the safest, most consistent and reliable transportation possible and strive to continually upgrade and improve our service to students, parents and schools.

Providing transportation services is quite an undertaking, and understanding how it all comes together can be challenging as well. Parents, students and community members are invited to view our web site to find valuable information about our department and procedures.

Early Release Schedules

Wednesdays are early release days for all in-district students.

Students will be home 90 minutes earlier than their usual drop-off schedule.

Preschool students do not attend on Wednesdays.
