Students and staff from Maryland School, Ocotillo Elementary School and Orangewood School were celebrated for their achievements and contributions!
Congratulations to our February 2026 SUPER Kids and SUPER Staff at Maryland School, Ocotillo Elementary School and Orangewood School who were celebrated by WESD Interim Superintendent Dr. Lupita Hightower!
The February 2026 SUPER Kids were:
Nicole M., Caitlyn A., Saadia D., Tyonna B., Maddox G., Yesenia M., Adriel R., Mark Dayne B. and Javeya T. at Maryland; Isaiah B., Amelia L., Ahmmad N. (not pictured), Joel L., Aranza A., Rogelio P. and Aiden B. (not pictured) at Ocotillo; and Ivette M., Annalisa V., Carissa G., Nylah L., Abriam R. (not pictured), Kyra G., Cash R. (not pictured), Lohla J. and Nahomie O. at Orangewood!
The February 2026 SUPER Staff were:
Cheyenne Kides, K–4 resource teacher and Matthew Studey, facilities manager at Maryland; Amber Dickerson, academic interventionist specialist - reading and Judi Logie, sixth grade math teacher at Ocotillo; and Carlos Flores, facilities manager and Amanda Robinson, third grade teacher at Orangewood!
Each SUPER Kid earned a certificate and a free pizza prize from Peter Piper Pizza, while each SUPER Staff was presented with a certificate and a Starbucks gift card, made possible by the generous support of Veregy.
Way to go, February 2026 SUPER Kids and SUPER Staff!
