Behavior and Environment in the LibraryThe John Jacobs Elementary School Library is a vibrant learning environment. Our students are expected to demonstrate the school rules while using the library resources. They are respectful, responsible and do their personal best whether using the library with their class, a small group or individually. They show a deep commitment to caring for the books, equipment and other resources in the library. When using the library independently, they are expected to bring a pass from their classroom teacher and to use the resources purposefully while showing respect for the other activities taking place in the library.
