About Our School

All schools in the Washington Elementary School District are committed to achieving excellence for every child, every day, every opportunity.

Engaged in Excellence - Orangewood School is a K-8 school committed to close communication among staff, parents, students and community. Orangewood School's curriculum is fully aligned with State Standards. Orangewood provides art, music and PE for all grade levels.

We encourage parental involvement, visitation and choice, and working together to provide learning environments that are supportive of students’ needs. Building student self-esteem, maintaining high staff morale, and holding high expectations for excellence in behavior and academics are priorities in our school. Orangewood is also a field-based teacher training site for ASU West students. Fine arts are strongly supported and integrated throughout our curriculum.

Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare students to become literate, creative, responsible, lifelong learners in partnership with families and the community.
