Sunburst School's curriculum is fully aligned with State Standards. Sunburst provides art, music and PE for all grade levels.

Sunburst students attend Desert Foothills Junior High and Greenway High Schools.
Site Council Membership
Council CompositionSite Councils function as school-based leadership groups. They are charged with the responsibility of ensuring that individuals who are affected by the outcome of a decision at the school site have an opportunity to provide input into the decision-making process as mandated by Arizona Revised Statute 15-351.


Meeting DatesThe Sunburst Site Council meets in the library on the third Monday of every month at 5 p.m.
Announcements

Remember our new start/end times.  School starts at 7:30 a.m. for all students. Kindergarten-2 grade is dismissed at 1:50 p.m. and 3-6 grade  is dismissed at 2:30 p.m.  On early release days, K-2 is dismissed at 12:20 p.m. and 3-6 grade is dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

Parent/Teacher Conferences is Wednesday, October 28 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Canned Food Drive begins Monday, November 2

Bingo Night is Friday, November 13, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
