All schools in the Washington Elementary School District are committed to achieving excellence for every child, every day, every opportunity. Arroyo Elementary School's curriculum is fully aligned with State Standards. Arroyo Elementary School provides an effective education for students from preschool through the sixth grade. It provides an on-site day care center designed to meet the needs of families with children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Arroyo offers programs that service the unique learning needs of students including learning disabled resource and self-contained programs, a program for the gifted students, as well as art, music and PE for all grade levels. The entire staff at Arroyo continually strives to provide an environment in which students feel safe, confident and, therefore, ready to learn.

Our mission is to stimulate, challenge, and engage all students and staff as learning colleagues, to instill confidence, create a desire for lifelong learning, and teach the responsibilities of good citizenship.
